NovaRow R50 Foldable Smart Air Rowing Machine for Home Use

I owned a Concept rower about20 years ago. I used it quite a bit but then the screen died. Got away from rowing. Now that I’m retired, wanted to get back to rowing. I didn’t want to spend the money on a new Concept II. When I saw adds about the R50, I jumped at it. Bottom line - the R50 is very similar at half the price.

I’ve always used a concept rower and was skeptical to get a different brand, but couldn’t get myself to pay over $1000 for a concept. This Merach rower is VERY similar to the concept rower. The Merach seat is cushioned and comfortable and better than the concept, in my opinion. The screen to show calories/meters is different and only complaint is you can’t make the calories stay on the screen (it switches from pulse to calories). The feet holders are sturdy and rigid. All and all its worth the money and unnecessary to buy a super expensive one. And the manual says you shouldn’t stand it straight up without taking it apart, but you can if you wanna!

This rower is a carbon copy of Concept 2 rower. Except the monitor. Great value!

Great machine but the same complaint as everyone else, the screen is useless. Can't see it, can't read it. Spend a few bucks and build a better screen.

Order process was easy and fast. Price was fair compared to other models. Assembly was simple. Quality seems good so far and works well!!

1 month in ived used the power almost everyday. Good solid unit, comparable to the ones at my gym, display works great and best part its quiet!!! Glad I got this one!!

I’m totally new to the rowing world and love it so far!

Easy to set up and feels sturdy and smooth. You can take it apart into 2 pieces for storage which is fairly easy once you do it a couple times.

I a 6 ft 2 and about 250lb and this works fine, my taller friends have tried it to with no issue, 6ft 7 the tallest. The monitor is a little dim but you can tilt it to make it work and the app also connects to your phone which is very clear.

Some nice intro classes free on the app and more advanced as you go. I've been able to prop up a couple youtube rowing classes as well.

Very good bang for your buck if you are looking for cardio thats easier on the knees

I’ve been using it for a week now and it seems to be well constructed, easy to assemble and excellent to use as part of my exercise routine.

I did not ever think I would be able to find a replacement for the Concept.2. I had two of them over a 15-year. And each time on a major move. I sold the C2 rather than move it.. not only have I found a replacement for the C2,; but I replaced it at a third of the price. I row everyday as part of my exercise routine.. The quality is excellent And I gave you a five-star rating in the hopes that you will do something to upgrade. The monitor. One does get spoiled with the monitor of the C2, but it does not in any way take away from the performance of the rower. Not everyone has a cell phone so I would urge you to think about some kind of an upgrade that could be applied to the monitor. I've also started to look at some of the other equipment that you have now designed and it is highly probable that I will add another piece of equipment to my home gym.

Looked at the Concept 2 machine, with it's $1500 price tag. Found the Merach and did considerable research. Took advantage of a special offer and had it delivered (free shipping!) within 3 days. Easy to assemble with tools and fasteners provided. Very smooth operation, much quieter than expected. Some reviews said the display was too dark, I didn't find that at all. Recommended without hesitation.

This is the first piece of equipment I’ve purchased for my home. I’ve always gone to the gym but now I have a home based job. I’ve only ever used a concept 2 rower in the past I can’t tell the difference with my recently purchased Merach rower. Very happy so far the monitor could use an upgrade otherwise it’s a nice rower especially for the price.

Great rower for me! Just new to rowing and started on a smaller cheaper Walmart brand that we had got from a friend. I enjoyed the full body workout and wanted to get a better machine that offered resistance adjustability so I started researching! All indicators pointed to the Concept 2 but many reviewers indicated that the monitor was the big difference between the units so i was not needing that information to get the workout I needed!! One trip on this machine showed me the difference between a starter unit and something way better.For what im doing this is what i needed!! Solid , smooth and easy to assemble!! Very happy!

Great product; very well built…best bang for your buck if you want a home gym rower that isvery durable and doesn’t cost a fortune. Very pleased!

Really enjoying rowing on this machine. It is very smooth and quiet. The display isn’t very useful but I can connect to apps with Bluetooth.It was very well packaged when it was delivered and easy to assemble.

Like most you tube videos on it, the machine itself mechanically is fantastic!!! The monitor subpar and frustrating to program or use. The app is limited as well. I use it with Apple Fitness and Black Sheep rowing and match their stroke rates and it works perfect for me.

Incredible product. Setup fairly simple. Quiet, overall great resistance on the chain, super comfortable seat, and great app display information. In my opinion a close comparison to the Concept 2 Rower with some benefits and for a fraction of the price. My 2nd Merach product now (also have the stationary bike) and loving them.

Love the rower… but something is missing ,.. wish that the control panel monitor would have an internal LED light to make it easier to view

Only difference between this machine and the concept 2 is the display screen, but at almost 1/2 the price the app works just as good.

The rower is good, very good, except the screen. They build the screen to drive people to use the app. It's dark, hard to see, hard to use plus the info keep switching.

Very high quality and well built rowing Machine. We will put it to good use. Assembly is easy but INSTRUCTIONS NEED TO BE BIGGER BOLDER PRINT

The rowing machine works as it should fully happy with the hardware. The display is not as intuitive as others I've used but is satisfactory for my use (timed).

Have used from day 1; love it; quiet; easy to assemble;
Comfy cushion; nice wide foot straps.

great quality, enjoy working out on it, Two thumbs up.

nice rower easy to assemble. Not much of a workout program though, work better with my ipad.
